Biography |
I began my practice as a consultant/healing practitioner in 1998 utilizing energy healing methods such as Reiki and reflexology and other intuitive methods. I expanded my practice in 2008 to include individuals with mental illness and coaching following completion of my undergrad studies and am currently preparing for the final steps in completing my masters in mental health counseling with a forensic psychology specialization. I base my practice on needs fulfillment and gender sensitive therapy approaches. My favorite exercise with clients is “Releasing The Crazy”. This works especially well with women and brings them a great sense of release. It always leaves them saying “Wow, I actually feel lighter”. I also teach my clients how to live backwards, this approach to loss of motivation and/or distraction is particularly effective in fitness and career goals. What differentiates me most of all are the 911 calls. I develop a very close relationship with my clients and stay aware of upcoming situations that might lead to a moment of craziness and make myself available for a 15 minute 911 call. My favorite clients are individuals willing to look at and move through the fear. Fear is the resistance and tightness that keeps people from their full expression of life. I help individuals breathe and move through that resistance. Although my client base mainly consists of women, I am finding the work I do with men to be extremely rewarding and welcome men enthusiastically. My clients are completing a life phase or a life phase is completing them (career change, school, empty-nest, retirement) or they have excelled in seemingly all areas of life but can’t seem to make that magic connection or start that profitable career, or build that exciting social life. Once they replace patterns and behaviors that no longer serve them and realize the limitless potential that is in front of them, they are unstoppable. |
