At an early age, I spent hours listening to people talk about the transitions, traumas, and troubles in their life as I played just out of ears’ reach (or so they thought). These special moments ignited a passion for people and what happens when human beings start being human.
With 10+ years of experience in helping people, I specialize in helping individuals cope with trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and reclaiming their power. I use a variety of approaches allowing you to take the lead and be the expert on you while I serve as a guide in helping you get to your best life and your best self.

I believe that life is meant to be a perfectly imperfect experience, lived fully, and governed by our own rules. We are the product of past and current experiences, desires for future experiences, and trying to live our lives by the rules others have placed on us. We deny our own wants, needs, feelings, thoughts, etc., and wonder why we are unhappy, lonely, unfulfilled. Healing comes when we live life by our rules, meet our own needs, and face our fears. This is accomplished through a deep exploration of our past and current experiences and our desires with the result being a deep level of self-awareness and the ability to navigate any challenges life brings your way.
I use a collaborative counseling approach; you set goals of therapy and we work towards achieving those goals.
I love to laugh and believe laughter is at the center of healing. I encourage laughter and genuine authentic communication; kindness and compassion for self are habitually practiced in sessions.
I incorporate an element of spirituality and alternative healing modalities into my sessions. There is more than one path to healing. I approach my clients and healing as an honorable calling and not just a profession or career. I am naturally enthusiastic in my work which helps to inspire hope and change in my clients. I am a believer that change is always possible.
Utilizing acceptance, empathy, and compassion I walk with clients through the darker parts of their experiences and celebrate the lighter parts of their being. When you have a thorough joining and understanding between both parts, through understanding and acceptance of both parts, a healthy and whole life can be lived. You have a better understanding of yourself and the world around you.
